The Marimo moss ball is actually an algae found in Japan and northern Europe. In their natural environment they get their ball shape from the currents flowing back and forth pushing them along the lake floor. Wonderful addition to any aquarium and available in several sizes for uses in Nano tanks to large show aquariums.

Marimo moss balls that are great additions to all aquariums and they will help in the removal excess nutrients in the water. They are extremely low maintenance and very few fish eat or nibble on them, they also help reduce other types of algae since they absorb the same nutrients needed to grow.
