In the 1960’s a pioneer in the fish industry began importing and raising tropical fish. Back then, aquatic plants could not survive on the shelves in stores. He set out to design packaging that would allow aquatic plants to live on shelves, and he ultimately was successful in his endeavors.

Due to the technology that our founder created, our tube plants are able to live on shelves longer than any competitors. Our proprietary tube holding and display technology allows our plants to thrive on store shelves for 8-16 weeks depending on species. This also allows for better shipping of the plants to ensure they will arrive safely, undamaged, and disease-free.

Our Tissue Culture Lab

We are a female ran, second generation family owned and operated business. Complete Aquatic Systems is the industry leader for aquarium plants and related live décor in the United States. We were the first wholesaler to supply tissue culture aquarium plants to North America along with bringing several rare species of plants to the mass market which made several species more affordable for all in the industry. Our staff has spent years working on innovating products and packaging ideas for the aquarium trade gaining attention and trust from the pet industry’s leading retailers.
