About Dracaena sp.
Dracaena sp. is not a true aquatic plant, and will rot if kept completely submersed for a prolonged period of time (several months). Ideally, it should be grown partially submerged or above the water line, with its roots trailing down into the water to absorb nutrients.
Propagating the plant is extremely easy. To propagate Dracaena sp., use a sharp knife or scissors to cut off and replant stem sections.
