Aquatic Tissue Culture Plants

Tissue culture plants are propagated in sterile packages where they grow in non-toxic, germ- and pest-free environments. Complete Aquatic Systems owns and operates our own tissue culture lab thus giving us total control over the varieties and quantities produced.  Another benefit to having our own lab is that we don't have any middlemen to deal with.

Description

About Rіссіа Fluitans

Left floating unattended, this aquarium moss plant continues to expand as an amorphous mass. When tied down and submerged, new shoots grow upward and may need to be pruned. Weighing down aquarium netting with small stones and using it to cover the plant creates an attractive carpet for the foreground of the aquarium. The mature plant must be pruned regularly to let light penetrate the mass.

Propagation

Propagating the Riccia fluitans carpet plant is easy. Simply split the thick mats that form, and they will grow on their own.
