Water Lily Package
Ideal First Flowers
The success of raising water lilies outdoors depends on the “hardiness zone” where you plant them, as established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). However, it’s easier to cultivate a water lily in an aquarium where growing conditions are easier to monitor. This makes the flowers an excellent choice for beginners.
The process of raising a hardy water lily is straightforward: water lily bulbs are planted underwater, then send up stems with rounded leaves. Once stems reach the surface, star-shaped blossoms emerge.
Multi Bulb Package
Multiple water lily bulbs are often planted in a single aquarium to produce enough blossoms to cover the water surface. Once planted, bulbs take between one and two seasons to mature, but the striking blooms are worth the wait. As with all of our aquatic plants, these water lily bulbs are free of pathogens, diseases, and pests so that nothing impedes cultivation.
