Aquatic Tissue Culture Plants

Tissue culture plants are propagated in sterile packages where they grow in non-toxic, germ- and pest-free environments. Complete Aquatic Systems owns and operates our own tissue culture lab thus giving us total control over the varieties and quantities produced.  Another benefit to having our own lab is that we don't have any middlemen to deal with.

Description

About Rоtаlа wallichii

Rotala wallichii red plants grow in fluffy groupings that rise to the water surface, which is where the colors are most vibrant and the side shoots grow longest. To maximize the plant’s health, provide bright іllumіnаtіоn, CO2 injections, аnd bаlаnсеd fеrtіlіzаtіоn. Choose the fauna in your tank carefully, as many fish and invertebrates consume these aquatic stem plants.

Propagation

To propagate Rotala wallichii red plants, use a pair of sharp scissors to snip the stems when they become too long near the water surface, and then plant them in the substrate.
