Aquatic Tissue Culture Plants
Tissue culture plants are propagated in sterile packages where they grow in non-toxic, germ- and pest-free environments. Complete Aquatic Systems owns and operates our own tissue culture lab thus giving us total control over the varieties and quantities produced. Another benefit to having our own lab is that we don't have any middlemen to deal with.
Hardy and easy to care for, the Stаurоgуnе repens aquarium plant is ideal for beginner and expert aquarists alike. It makes a fantastic foreground and middleground plant, thanks to the relatively large leaves that form wide, low-growing bushes that have earned the plant the name: Staurogyne repens carpet.

About Stаurоgуnе Repens
The Stаurоgуnе repens aquarium plant is surprisingly versatile for aquascaping. In addition to serving as a carpeting plant in the foreground and middleground, it provides wonderful texture and color contrasts to other low-growing plants nearby. A Staurogyne repens carpet is perfect for filling in gaps between large stones and driftwood. It can fill crevices or creep down from above.
To propagate the Stаurоgуnе repens aquarium plant, snip off the longest upright shoots with sharp scissors, and plant them in the substrate a few centimeters apart. Within a few days, horizontal runners should emerge from the base, and eventually the plant will anchor to and colonize the substrate. For best results, add fertilizer and CO2 and boost the lighting.
