Aquatic Tissue Culture Plants
Tissue culture plants are propagated in sterile packages where they grow in non-toxic, germ- and pest-free environments. Complete Aquatic Systems owns and operates our own tissue culture lab thus giving us total control over the varieties and quantities produced. Another benefit to having our own lab is that we don't have any middlemen to deal with.

Description
About Alternanthera Reineckii
One of the best red aquarium plants by popular demand, this plant is perfect for adding a splash of color to an aquarium. It grows slowly, and growth can be slowed further by reducing light. If the lower leaves drop from the plant, lighting should be increased slightly until the dropping stops. Increasing lighting and adding iron supplements to the substrate will help intensify the plant’s color. This plant grows emersed or submerged and is perfect for planting in groups.
Propagation
Propagating the plant is simple. Simply remove the middle shoot or take cuttings from the side shoot, and replant them directly in the substrate. This causes the mother plant to bush out. Using a nutrient-rich substrate to promote healthy growth is highly recommended.
