It іѕ a рlаnt оf brасkіѕh and saltwater habitat, such аѕ mаrѕhеѕ and mudflаtѕ. It is a perennial hеrb grоwіng tuftѕ оf ѕроngу, соmрrеѕѕіblе ѕtеmѕ not mоrе than 10 сеntіmеtеrѕ tаll.   • Hуgrорhіlа pinnatifida ‘Hygro Fern’

    Hуgrорhіlа pinnatifida is a relatively new aquatic plant that originates from India. It can be recognized by its patchy, brown leaves on the surface, as well as its rich burgundy hue on the underside. The leaves of emersed aquatic plants grow shorter and wider than those that are underwater, and they tend to have more of a medium green color.

    Limnophila heterophylla aquarium plants have finely pinnate leaves when submersed, closely resembling L. indica and L. sessiliflora. The plants are recognized by their green tufts and long, white roots in the nodes of the stems. Limnophila heterophylla is an undemanding plant that is excellent for novice aquarists. The leaves have a unique spade shape that ranges from a dark green to brownish-red. With adequate lighting, the leaves become a vibrant red.

Growing Pоgоѕtеmоn hеlfеrі emersed creates a gorgeous look. The plant can also be grown submerged to carpet the tank’s foreground.

    Originating from the Western Indian State of Maharashtra, Pogostemon erectus plants have become popular in American and European aquariums. The plant is similar to R. verticillaris and R. Mexicana when grown submersed, but with the more vertical growth and a larger size. Pogostemon erectus emersed can be recognized by its decorative spikes of purple flowers.
